Position Overview
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end and back-end development skills, cloud and API integration experience, database expertise, and hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools and Generative AI to improve software development, testing, and automation.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on full stack development.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, MVC, Angular, and SQL.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade web applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native applications, and enterprise application integration.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled application development, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and intelligent automation.
- Experience with SQL Server, complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Automate.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JSON, and secure API development.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing, DevSecOps, and enterprise AI integration.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, architecture reviews, and Agile development experience.
