Position Overview
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to define and evolve enterprise information architecture and reusable data products that support modernization initiatives and future AI capabilities. The selected consultant will partner with business leaders, architects, product teams, and engineering organizations to establish enterprise-wide data standards, governance, data models, and cloud-based data architecture while enabling secure, scalable, and reusable information assets across agencies.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Information Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Data Architecture
- Data Engineering
- Advanced Database Design
- Data Modeling
- Data Warehouse / Data Mart Design
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- MongoDB
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience designing enterprise information architecture
- Experience developing conceptual and logical data models
- Experience with:
- Data Governance
- Metadata Management
- Data Lineage
- Data Catalog
- Data Quality
- Data Security
- Privacy & Regulatory Compliance
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience defining reusable enterprise data products
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
