Position Overview
The State of Arizona (AZDPS) is seeking two experienced .NET Developers to design, develop, and support enterprise web applications. This role involves full-stack development using modern .NET technologies, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using .NET Core, C#, MVC, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders using Azure DevOps and Git
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in full SDLC (development, testing, deployment, support)
- Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development (.NET 8.0 or higher)
- Strong proficiency in:
- C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .NET Core
- Experience with Blazor
- Experience using Azure DevOps and Git for collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Important Notes
- Hybrid role – onsite for the first month, then 2 days onsite per week
- Local Phoenix candidates only
- Must be eligible for full-time conversion (no visa sponsorship)
- Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
- Background check and drug screening required (HireRight)
