🔹 Job Description
AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System) is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / Business Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reports. This role supports healthcare and Medicaid reporting and requires strong technical BI skills along with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights.
🔹 Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Create data models, DAX measures, KPIs, and visualizations
- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query
- Translate business and reporting requirements into BI solutions
- Optimize report performance and manage datasets in Power BI Service
- Ensure BI governance, data security, and reporting best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling (star schema), and Power Query
- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and data storytelling
- Knowledge of BI concepts (ETL, governance, reporting lifecycle)

Bachelor’s degree required

Must be local to Arizona (current location must be listed on resume)
- Must be available for in-person interview and quick start
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or Medicaid domain experience (claims, eligibility, encounters)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse
- Power Automate and Power Apps integration
- Agile/Scrum environment experience
- Python or R experience (nice to have)
