The City of Phoenix Water Services Department Technology Services Division is seeking a Power Apps Developer to help deliver innovative solutions that improve operations and services. If you are passionate about building impactful applications and driving digital transformation, we want you on our team.
Core Responsibilities App Development:
Build and customize applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
Data-Driven Solutions:
Design apps leveraging Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, relational databases, and external data sources.
Workflow Automation:
Create automated processes using Power Automate.
UI/UX Design:
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile.
Maintenance & Support:
Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and update solutions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance app performance.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
Required Skills
Power Platform Expertise:
Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
Data Modeling & Integration:
Strong skills in SQL, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
Data Visualization:
Ability to design apps that effectively present and manipulate data.
Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge:
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Agile Development:
Experience with iterative development methodologies.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Certifications:
Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
Experience: 3–5 years in Power Apps development, integration, and automation.
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
