Position Overview:
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager – SAP & Enterprise Integration to lead a transformative HR technology initiative. The role will oversee the decommissioning of legacy databases, migration of critical data to SAP (S/4HANA or ECC), and integration of SAP with internal applications via APIs and middleware.

The role will oversee the decommissioning of legacy databases, migration of critical data to SAP (S/4HANA or ECC), and integration of SAP with internal applications via APIs and middleware.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid leader capable of managing complex projects while guiding technical solutions, with proven experience in SAP data migration, enterprise integration, and legacy system modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans covering objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Lead decommissioning of legacy HR systems in compliance with data retention standards
- Oversee end-to-end SAP data migration using SAP tools and methodologies
- Design and implement integration strategies between SAP and internal applications
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and SAP functional experts
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution
- Communicate updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Collaborate with agencies and business units to define current and future state models
- Analyze and prioritize business requirements to align with technical solutions
- Foster a collaborative and productive project environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SuccessFactors
- Proven project management and leadership skills in IT systems development/implementation
- Expertise in SAP data migration and enterprise integration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage schedules, milestones, and deliver projects on time and within budget
Minimum Experience and Training:
- Four years of experience leading complex IT projects and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- SAP certifications in data migration, integration, or architecture

Compensation: $58.00 per hour
