Position Summary:
City of Phoenix is seeking a Contracts Specialist II for its Administrative Support division. This role requires local candidates only and is 100% Onsite. Interviews will be conducted remotely.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in contracts and procurement, with a strong understanding of Title 34 procurements. Experience with eProcurement portals such as OpenGov, Bonfire, or Public Purchase is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates with experience in construction design procurement and comfortable with public speaking/presentations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and process complex design and construction procurements.
- Manage general contracts and procurement activities in compliance with City of Phoenix policies.
- Apply expertise in Title 34 procurement processes (strongly preferred).
- Utilize eProcurement systems (OpenGov, Bonfire, Public Purchase) to manage solicitations and vendor communications.
- Present findings and procurement status to stakeholders when necessary.
- Support construction design procurement processes from RFP development to contract award.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

- Combination of education and progressive work experience in relevant fields.
Compensation: $54.00 per hour
