Job Description
Rio Salado College seeks a Senior Development Officer to lead fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives. This onsite role focuses on donor cultivation, strategic fundraising, alumni relations, and partnership building in alignment with institutional priorities. Ideal candidates will have experience in higher education fundraising, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in managing alumni programs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure major gifts and planned giving.
· Coordinate alumni engagement programs and events.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Maintain accurate donor and alumni records; produce reports and communications.
· Support additional development activities as needed.
Required:
· Fundraising experience in higher education
· Strong interpersonal and donor relationship skills
· Experience managing alumni programs
Preferred:
· Sales or prospecting experience
· Highly organized
· Experience in high-value donor marketing
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
